We are planning to host a walk 2 water fundraising day.  It will start at the Brush Creek Park, we will then walk to a Brush Creek.  There we will fill a gallon of water and continue our walk back to the park.  If we have younger children that can only make it to the creek, we can have some cars available to pick them up and take them back to the park.  My goal is to have a four mile walk, this is typical how far a girl would walk just one way to get water for her family, and sometimes they would have to do it more than once.

This is where our fundraising comes in!  I would for you and your children to join us!!!  They can invite friends and family to sponsor them for every mile they walk, and all the money we raise will go to building wells in the South Sudan.  If you can't make our walk you can just simply donate.

We are called to give to those in need, those who have much are called to give much! The second wonderful tool here is to teach our children to have compassion on those who are oppressed from the weights of this world.  Taking this small walk to water will help them to have compassion on those who suffer each day.
