Dear Families and Friends of a 6th Grade Student at Bear Canyon Elementary,

The 6th graders have been learning about the causes and effects of water scarcity in their Reading and Science classes.  We recently completed a project to create a fundraiser in order to help raise awareness of the global water crisis and become part of a solution to help families affected by water scarcity.  

Each student has pledged to pick up trash in their school and surrounding communities for each donation made towards this fundraiser.   Our class goal is to raise $1230.00, or $20 per student.
